No grand plans.
No saving up for months just to make it happen.
No time off from work.
No complicated travel arrangements.
No long road trips.
No costumes.
No to-do lists.
Nothing.
I'm headed out to Comic-Con this Saturday with Alex, and my only plan is to show up at his house and get into his car, and meet up with a few people when we arrive.
Does this even count as a convention? A day trip? I'll have the freedom to dress as comfortably as I want, and I'll still have the whole rest of the weekend to myself. I may even be able to afford to eat the next day. That just doesn't match up with what a convention should be, right?
