GameCola: Video Game Humor

Anybody can write a video game review, but not everybody can write a funny video game review. Just look at GameCola.net and you'll see what I mean.

You can interpret that however you wish.

GameCola is a monthly online video game newsletter with a sense of humor and lots of pretty pictures. GameCola features game reviews, news, podcasts, a blog, and columns with names such as Be Careful What You Search For, Games for the Casual Gamer, Great Moments in Gaming, Quantum Geek, and Neal Is Awesomer Than You.

GameCola has been online since 2002, so there's plenty of gooey, reviewy gaming goodness to be had. If you get really into it, you can even buy a GameCola t-shirt. Or you could just send that money to me instead. After all, it's your (soon to be my) money.

Plus (and here's the most obvious selling point), I'm an official staff writer! As you can tell from the staff pictures on the site, I got the job because I have a beard, and beards are hot this year.

If you like the site, sign up for their mailing list and be sure to list me as a referral so I can have a chance at winning a free sticker--Under Your E-Mail Address, list:

...and put your own e-mail address under Your Friend's E-Mail Address.

Yes, the value of our friendship is a free sticker.

Now go enjoy your refreshing GameCola, and revel in the glorious beardage.

I liked the review. You get extra points for using emdashes.

I agree, it's the beard.

Although I'm sure your creative writing skills must have helped.

tarepanda: Thanks! I added those emdashes with you in mind.

Anonymous: Most people don't realize this, but a beard dates back several thousand years as an indicator of creative writing ability, with the thickness and length being directly proportional to the quality of that person's creative writing.

Need proof? George Lucas shaved the morning he wrote Phantom Menace.
